Ch. Tartanside Malachi

(Ch. Tartanside Impresario x Ch. Tartanside Imagination)

"Malachi" was purchased from John Buddie of Tartanside Kennels in the summer of 1994.  Though slow to mature, he won Best in Sweeps at the Collie Club of Maine Specialty in 1995, under j. Rosemary Roberts.  The following year he returned to receive his first major under j. Maret Halinen.  Malachi was owner handled for both wins.  In the fall of 1997, Malachi went to Tartanside for an extended visit.  He spent his fall days entertaining the ladies and the following spring he went onto finish his championship under j. Don Bickford and handled by his breeder John Buddie. THANK YOU JOHN!

Malachi is tightly linebred on some of Tartanside's finest dogs, not the least of which is the incomparable AM/CAN Ch. Tartanside Heir Apparent.  He is in firm possession of the solid and extremely sound body this family is known for.  He is not only a beautifully moving dog, but he excels in head detail.  His beautiful, round muzzle, plenty of underjaw, sweet dark eyes, well placed stop and lack of depth round out hs magnificence and make him a dog  to be reckoned with.  He is prepotent for his attributes, consistently giving to his puppies his beautiful bone, muzzle, eye and tons of coat.  We are most impressed and encouraged with the temperaments that Malachi is producing in his offspring.  They seem to take everything in stride and have a "whatever goes" attitude when dealing with new situations.  Pet owners really appreciate the temperament on his puppies.
